During ski season I have spent considerable time working on the Nordic Pass Ski Trail wich runs from near the bottom of the Silver Fir chair lift almost to the weather station at Nordic Pass. Just past the weather station one can begin a ski ascent of Mt Catherine. I have done this twice once finding a way off the east end to complete a traverse of Mt Catherine.
