After doing Amphitheater Mountain Roy and I abandoned Edythe to her own devices and went off to climb Cathedral Peak. So up onto the west ridge we scramble then dropping into a strange cleft that runs along the top of the ridge. A short mantle gets one up out of the cleft for a step across move that has a lot of exposure. We break out the rope for this move and belay each other across the step onto a narrow ledge which leads back to the top of the ridge which becomes a wide upsloping ramp that goes to the summit. A bit of an adrenalin rush on the step across but an easy climb overall.
